Padel Maidenhead is the Padel Berkshire flagship at the Padel Pavilion in Braywick Park, Braywick Road, Maidenhead SL6 1BN — handy for the M4 (J8/9) and the A308. The club runs seven LTA Grade A panoramic outdoor courts plus an indoor panoramic singles court inside the pavilion (the former Sportsable building). Six of the outdoor courts sit under a large barrel-vaulted canopy for all-weather play, with one outdoor show court remaining open to the elements. Pay-and-play is open to non-members via Playtomic, and the Deuce Bar, shop, and changing rooms make it feel like a full club rather than a bare set of cages. Peak slots book out quickly — a sign of how busy Berkshire padel has become. Further Padel Berkshire sites in Ascot/Marlow and Windsor have been trailed as coming soon.
Facilities
Non-members can pay and play; membership is optional and managed entirely in the Playtomic app (search Padel Maidenhead). Multiple tiers are offered (historically from roughly £40/month up to a Platinum tier around £200+/month) with benefits such as longer booking windows, more concurrent bookings, and court-fee discounts or free court share on higher plans — check current prices in-app. Cancellation windows: Platinum free cancel from 24 hours before; other members 48 hours; non-members 72 hours. Intro to Padel classes are about £10/hour via Academy → Classes. WhatsApp groups help find partners if you do not have a full four. I’ve had 4 training sessions at Padel Maidenhead with Harriet and honestly she’s been brilliant. We’ve learned loads in a short space of time and made massive progress already. Definitely keen to book another 4 sessions after a bit of practice. Big shoutout to Jade as well for organising everything - she’s been super helpful and really accommodating with all our requirements, which made the whole experience smooth from the start. The facilities are great too. Nice courts, and the bar area is a really good bonus, great service and a solid selection of drinks. Highly recommend!
Been playing at my local padel club for a while now and honestly it’s spot on. The courts are always in great condition, the club shop is well stocked, and having a bar there just tops it off — everything you need in one place. Only downside is it can be a bit tricky to get a game sometimes, but that just shows how popular padel has become lately. Great atmosphere and a brilliant place to play.
Really nice padel courts, clean, and spacious. Friendly staffs. 6 roofed outdoor courts, 1 outdoor court (show court), 1 indoor singles court (low ceiling height), cafe, gym/fitness room (Apollo Fitness Studio), padel shop, outdoor table tennis, car park, free wifi, etc.
I am a regular player at Padel Maidenhead. Sometimes I play twice or three times per week. Today I played on a singles court for 90mins and one of my colleagues (white female) asked at the end of the session to continue as there was a free slot for 20mins. Harriot, confirmed we could play for free as the court was empty. I (black male) then approach the desk to collect my racket and she said I then needed to pay for half an hour, when she realised I was part of the same group. I then explained the situation and she then repeated I need to pay for 30mins, with only 20mins left to play. In my opinion, it was quite unreasonable request and I don’t understand why her decision changed when she saw me. We decided to not play on and pay, based on our experience and discussed the events in the outdoor seating area. Harriot, then lingered around us with her arms crossed which we felt was quite intimidating. Please contact if you would like any further details.
Unfortunately had a really unwelcoming experience here. Eventually managed to find staff to check in for a pre-booked session, none of the staff greeted us or asked whether we’d been to the venue before, it actually felt like we were inconveniencing them by being there. After telling the staff what time we’d booked for, the older lady ‘helping’ us looked wildly unimpressed when we asked to rent/buy the kit needed to play. After paying, the staff just looked away and carried on chatting amongst themselves, nobody made a point to ask whether we knew where the court was. As this was our first visit to the venue, it would’ve been nice if the staff a) said hello b) asked whether we’d been to the venue before c) didn’t act as though us attempting to purchase something was a massive inconvenience to them. So ultimately ended up feeling uncomfortable and the older lady was particularly condescending in her tone and attitude. Would not return.
