UK Padel Holmer Green is Buckinghamshire’s original public-access padel club, set at Holmer Green Sports Association off Dormer Lane near High Wycombe. What started as a small two-court project has grown into a busy community hub with floodlit outdoor courts — including covered courts with retractable roofs so play continues through typical British weather — plus a purpose-built clubhouse with lounge, kitchen, changing rooms, and patio. Director Phil Cornhill and the coaching team get constant shout-outs for making complete beginners feel at home and for keeping open matches mixed by level rather than cliquey. Expect beginners sessions, mix-ins, junior squads, Americanos, monthly leagues, and plenty of WhatsApp-organised social play. Book through the UK Padel / Matchpoint app; membership unlocks longer booking windows across the whole UK Padel network.
Facilities
Membership of any UK Padel club is £145 per year (£72.50 for juniors) and unlocks every club in the network, including Holmer Green, Princes Risborough, Stoke Poges, Milton Keynes, and Newquay. Members get 21-day advance court booking; non-members book 7 days ahead. A two-month starter membership costs £25 and includes three Beginners Padel sessions plus discounted member coaching rates — aimed at people taking their first steps. Started as a complete beginner with my husband back in May and now we are both addicted! The club is super friendly and well managed by Phil. Lots of social events to get involved in which are great fun and a good way to meet new people. Court & coaching bookings via the app are really easy. Having the roof over both courts is essential and much appreciated, especially with winter approaching. I'm so excited to see the club grow and develop over the next few months.
Super friendly environment, and players of all abilities are welcome. The roof creates the option to continue playing despite the bad British weather. Highly recommend giving it a go!
Really great club with friendly members and excellent staff who go out of their way to make the whole thing run well. You'll always have access to matches at your playing standard and can arrive knowing nothing about Padel or having anyone to play with - Phil and the coaches will get you up to speed and playing regularly in no time.
Brilliant club with an unbeatable community vibe! Great facilities at UK Padel Holmer Green, and it’s only getting better with the new clubhouse and courts on the way. Even though it’s an outdoor club, the retractable roofs mean you can play comfortably all year round, a real game changer. What really makes this place special though is the culture. It’s welcoming, inclusive, and full of energy. Everyone’s made to feel part of the club, no matter their age or ability. You’ll almost certainly meet Phil Cornhill, Director and the driving force behind the club’s fantastic atmosphere (I would say the secret sauce). The coaches are always on hand with great tips and encouragement without making it feel like school. I joined as a complete beginner and now play at UK Padel venues at least three times a week. There’s always a brilliant mix of players and abilities which keeps things fun and competitive in the right way. Couldn’t recommend UK Padel Holmer Green highly enough. Whether you’re new to the game or already hooked, you’ll love it here.
Really friendly club. App makes setting up/joining games with similar standard players really easy. Lots of individual and group coaching sessions available. Retractable roofs an added bonus.
