HG5 Padel is a family-run court hire venue at Poplars Farm between Arkendale and Ferrensby, near Knaresborough — a short drive from Harrogate and York. Two brand-new roofed panoramic doubles courts sit inside a converted barn on a working arable farm that also runs a livery yard. The pitch is countryside padel rather than city mega-club: sheep and horses on neighbouring land, side-glass views out across the farm, and a small-scale welcome. Owners respond quickly to questions, and early reviews praise the signposting (useful given the rural spot), self-service racket hire and fair vending prices. Intro to Padel and club socials appear on Playtomic with coach Dave Mansfield.
Facilities
No formal membership package is advertised. Court hire is pay-as-you-play via Playtomic. Published rates are £20 off-peak and £32 peak (weekday evenings and weekend mornings). Intro and social sessions have been listed around £10 on the academy board.

Great location, well signposted which is handy given the more remote location than other clubs. Self-service racket rental is great and the vending machines are fairly priced too. Toilets are on site which is appreciated. The owners responded to a question I had within the hour, amazing service. Brilliant 2 covered courts with a nice view out the side glass! I can tell a lot of effort has gone into making HG5 Padel a nice place to play
