Membership & Pricing
Oxford Sports Lawn Tennis Club sits at the end of North Hinksey Village, about two kilometres south-west of Oxford city centre. Founded in 1919, it is primarily a community tennis club with eight floodlit tennis courts, a clubhouse, junior programmes and league teams, and it was among the first places in Oxfordshire to add padel. Three outdoor panoramic floodlit padel courts on site are operated by Smash Padel rather than through tennis membership alone. That split means tennis members get the clubhouse and social tennis scene, while padel players can book pay-and-play without joining the LTC. The setting is village-edge Oxford with parking and neighbour Oxford RFC next door.
Facilities
Padel court hire is pay-and-play through Smash Padel: you do not need Oxford Sports LTC membership to book. Register on NETTLA for courts, activities, public matches, private coaching and optional Smash memberships. Tennis membership at Oxford Sports runs April to March with adult, junior, family, couple, student and disability categories, unlocking ClubSpark tennis booking, clubhouse access and the club’s social and competitive programme. Guests on tennis courts pay a small fee and are limited per year. For padel-only players, Smash Padel’s socials, box leagues, ladders and seasonal tournaments are the usual route into regular play.

Used Oxford Sports LTC as Summer Camps for my daughter, as a way to enjoy and get into tennis! She was super happy, the coaches are great, it feels very professional, safe and fun!!
Played Padel here for the first time. Fab, although no toilet seats need to sort that out really. Great courts though.
A really friendly club with plenty of opportunities to access adults or children coaching. Also has a very active social tennis scene. Oh and there are also Padel courts.
Amazing club. So friendly and great infrastructure. I also hear they will soon have 3 padel courts and be the first one in Oxfordshire to do so.
My old tennis club. Great to revisit as I had so many happy memories. A thriving club which caters for all levels. So many good juniors
