Porthcawl Padel is a seafront padel venue at Griffin Park on the Eastern Promenade in Porthcawl, Bridgend County Borough (CF36 5TS). Directors Elliott Jones, Conor Rees, Benjamin Thomas and Daniel Thomas converted underused tennis courts into two outdoor panoramic padel courts after about £120,000 of investment, including a £60,000 Development Bank of Wales loan. The aim was to bring padel to Porthcawl for the first time, for local players and visitors who already travel to Cardiff and Swansea to play. Reviews mention well-kept courts, a short walk to the beachfront, and social events that make the place feel welcoming.

Academy-style activities include men’s and women’s intro-to-padel sessions (around £6 in listings seen), and the operators plan school sessions as well. Social events are promoted via Instagram. Such a fantastic place to play padel! The courts are well maintained and it’s just a short walk to the beach front for a post padel dip or a coffee. The social events make it such a welcoming place for the community & a positive atmosphere overall. Highly recommend ⭐️
