Membership & Pricing
Padium Cardiff is a premium indoor padel club at Cardiff Bay Retail Park on Ferry Road, pitched as Wales' largest purpose-built padel complex at around 35,000 square feet. Eight AFP panoramic indoor courts with Mondo turf sit at the centre of the offer, with warm-up zones, a players' lounge, and social spaces designed for time off court as much as on it. The brand positions padel here as an elevated experience — clean, modern, and noticeably pricier than other Cardiff options according to regular players. Booking runs exclusively through the Padel Mates app rather than walk-ins. Reviews highlight friendly staff, polished changing areas, and the novelty of recovering in a sauna that looks straight down onto the courts.
Facilities
Court hire is pay-and-play through Padel Mates, with published rates around £50 per hour off-peak and £60 at peak times — roughly £12.50–£15 per player when split four ways. Both members and casual bookers are welcome. Membership tiers reported at launch include Play at £39 per month, which reduces per-session costs for regulars, and Play and Recover at £89 per month with wellness access bundled in. The wider Padium academy programme covers intro courses, beginner-to-advanced group coaching, ladies' nights, club-night socials, padel-and-beers evenings, private lessons, and levelling sessions with coaches. A WhatsApp community shares Cardiff-specific news and events.

What a fantastic place. Eight courts, great bar and coffee.shop. Lovely sitting area.
It is a lovely venue and definitely the best overall Padel facilities currently in Cardiff. Though it is also considerably more expensive than the others. It was a little to warm when I played today. Apparently the air con is in its coldest setting. So that needs to be sorted otherwise it will be hard work when the weather warms up. Myself and a friend had the first pints to be pulled. The chilli and chorizo pizza was very nice 🙂 👍. The bar and and lounge area is huge. The Sauna overlooking the courts is a cool feature. Changing rooms are fabulous. Staff are all lovely and welcoming as you would expect. A great addition to Padel Cardiff. Just make sure you book your vehicle registration at reception. As normally 3 hours maximum parking without it. 😁👏👏👏👋
Friendly staff, very clean space and relaxed environment
Love this place! Really modern with nice courts and gym equipment
This is my new favourite place to play Padel and unwind in the recovery suite! Facilities are amazing!
