Membership & Pricing
Ryde Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club is a friendly multi-sport members club tucked away on Playstreet Lane on the outskirts of Ryde on the Isle of Wight. Tennis and croquet have long been the mainstays, but the club has added two new floodlit astroturf padel courts that play year-round alongside six all-weather tennis courts (five floodlit) and two summer grass tennis courts. The site also hosts four full-size croquet lawns from April to November. A refurbished clubhouse funded by Sport England grants offers changing rooms, showers, a kitchen, bar and clockhouse where padel rackets and balls can be hired or bought. The club runs island and mainland league teams, coaching for juniors and adults, and has become the hub for competitive padel on the island, hosting the Isle of Wight Padel Championship and Wight Games Festival padel events.

Fantastic community club with croquet, tennis, paddle, cards and music. Come and join.
This is a great tennis, padel, croquet and pickleball club. Open for members (at a very reasonable price) and visitors alike. New padel courts are great and there is a roll up / mix in for non members on a Wednesday and Thursday evening
This is a members club and I was fortunate to be invited to play as a guest of some members. It is a hidden gem. Tucked away at the back of Ryde it offered a number of beautifully maintained and appearing nearly new artificial tennis courts and I think I saw what looked like a couple of grass courts. The club was quiet and civilised without appearing too cliquey ... so great if you just want somewhere to have a good game. I don't really play croquet but there were a number of greens that also looked to be in very good condition. The guest fees were very reasonable as I understand the membership fees are too.
Nice friendly club, shame the AstroTurf courts aren't a little higher quality. Good catering though in the newly refurbished café, and competitive croquet section.
Just had a tennis lesson with coach David Excellent tuition and very pleasant manner. I would recommend the club , members friendly and welcoming.
