The Padel Shed Weobley is Herefordshire's first indoor padel court, built inside a converted potato shed on the Powell family's working farm at Lower Newton Farm near Weobley. Opened around July 2025 after the farm ended its potato growing operation, it offers an unusual all-weather setup with countryside views rather than a city leisure-centre feel. One double court is live now; a second is planned after harvest. Sessions run 7am–10pm daily via PadelMates, with door codes emailed after booking so players can access independently. Courtside Coffee provides a lounge for before and after play. The venue targets beginners through regulars who want rural, no-traffic parking and a distinctive barn setting.
Facilities
Court hire is pay-and-play: £28 off-peak (Mon–Fri 7am–4pm) and £40 peak (weekday evenings after 4pm and all weekend). Membership with priority booking and discounts is listed as coming soon when the second court opens; a waiting list is available on the site. Intro to Padel coaching runs weekly with qualified coaches for complete beginners — email or call to book coaching rather than only using the court-hire app. No formal membership is required to play today.
