NAVE Padel x Pickleball is a boutique indoor racket club inside the 8 Marvila warehouse complex on Rua do Açúcar 19 in Lisbon's Marvila district, postcode 1950-242. Salto Studio converted a early-twentieth-century industrial nave into eight indoor padel courts on Ingode 360 Plus panoramic glass, plus Lisbon's first covered pickleball court, earning nomination for ArchDaily's Building of the Year in sports architecture. Terracotta tones run through the reception and court surrounds, nodding to tennis clay and Marvila's warehouse nightlife heritage. Players book through Racket ID, with pricing sheets on the Linktree hub alongside WhatsApp contact and an academy intake form. The central lounge has a bar, seating and a large screen for sport, while changing areas stay clean and well stocked according to regulars. Reviews note strong public-transport access, professional coaching and a unique warehouse vibe, with some players flagging lower ceiling beams that can clip lobs and premium court rates versus other Lisbon clubs.
Facilities
Court hire through Racket ID with off-peak slots from about seven euros per hour or nine euros for ninety minutes on weekdays before 17:00, rising to roughly twelve euros for peak evening and weekend periods according to published tariff summaries. Pickleball court hire around twenty-four euros per hour for groups of four. Equipment rental available at reception. Academy enrolment via the Tally form linked from Linktree. For those who like to play with lobs, these courts are far from ideal — the ceiling is too low, making it almost impossible. The constant, deafening noise from the dance class or club next door doesn’t help either. And to top it off, it’s the most expensive club to rent courts I've been in Lisbon.
Easily accessible by public transit and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Facilities excellent and clean. Great place for pickleball and panel. Only one pickleball court to have fun. Not busy on a Friday morning.
Overall a positive and somewhat unique style pavilion that's a nice place to play PADEL (8 courts), pickleball (1 court), and table tennis (1 table) all interior with nice bathhouses, a bar and some tables with chairs near the big screen (projector usually showing sports) in the central area to chill out. As downsides there are a few beams in the ceiling lower than usual so if you are not used to it, maybe 1 in 10 lobs might hit it. The ping pong table should have some dedicated light, but if they turn on the 2 closest lights from the near by PADEL court it's ok and all in all the ping pong is free anyways so it's understandable.
This is one of the few Indoor professional pickleball available in Lisbon as of now. If you have a group of 4 or more wanting to play, then you can book a court for €24 an hour. Otherwise if wanting to play with the locals, then you need to look further on Facebook
