Brean Padel sits at Brean Country Club on the Somerset coast, part of the Unity Holidays / Brean Golf Club site at Red Road, Berrow. When the two public outdoor courts opened, they were billed as Somerset’s first — a proper alternative to driving into Bristol if you wanted a hit. The courts are full-size framed padel courts (around 20m by 10m) with a blue astro surface and floodlights for evening play. Sessions are booked by the hour, and the setup works for holidaymakers on the park as well as local players dropping in. Reviews praise the courts as among the best nearby and note the hire price as fair. On site you can also use the wider country club amenities, including The View Kitchen & Bar for something after you finish.
Facilities
Court hire is open to the general public as well as owners and holidaymakers on the Unity Holidays parks — you pick your guest type when booking through the Unity activities system. One-hour sessions can be reserved online via Brean Country Club / Bookwhen. Friday evening social padel is aimed at singles or pairs who need others to play with. Independent coaches Stephen Pearce and Stuart Farrar offer private lessons, group sessions, and social mix play; Stephen also runs a Brean padel box league and social tournaments through the year. Coaching is delivered by third-party providers, not by the resort itself, so you arrange lessons directly with them.
