The Padel Farm is Yorks first indoor padel and social club, set inside a converted red barn on a working family farm in Sutton-on-the-Forest, North Yorkshire. The building once stored potatoes; now it houses two premium indoor courts roughly 15 minutes north of York city centre. The venue mixes countryside calm with a proper club feel — somewhere to book a court, meet players, and switch off for a couple of hours whether you have never held a racket or play every week. Courts book from early morning through late evening seven days a week via the Playtomic app, and the site still feels like a farm arrival: follow the signs from the entrance, use the free parking, and look for the barn. Rackets and balls are available to hire, so beginners can turn up in trainers and get stuck in.
Facilities
Casual court hire is charged per hour for the full court (up to four players): off-peak weekday daytime slots are around £20 per hour, with peak weekday evenings and all-day weekend hire around £40 per hour. Exact peak cut-offs can vary slightly between marketing copy and the FAQ, so check Playtomic at booking time. Membership is offered alongside casual play and is pitched at regulars who want better value and access. Member perks include early access to court bookings, discounted court rates, free hot drinks at the cafe, and exclusive member events. Group coaching can be booked through Playtomic; one-to-one sessions are arranged directly with coach Andy. New players are welcome — the club is explicit that first-timers, casual groups, and competitive players all fit.

Great venue not too far from York with lovely courts, cafe and seating area. Still developing and will be even more fantastic when finished. Staff friendly and welcoming.
Ace set up and looks like its only going to get better
Great place to play padel, great environment, clean, friendly.
We had such a great time for a two hour group booking. Love that you can choose the music, have balls and racquets provided…and the coffee machine was great too. Will be back!
