Padelstars Taunton operates three outdoor padel courts at Blackbrook Leisure Centre and Spa on Blackbrook Way, run by Everyone Active in partnership with Somerset Council. Opened in 2025 as Taunton's first public padel site, the floodlit courts sit beside the centre's outdoor tennis courts and target players of all ages through pay-and-play booking, coaching and social programmes. The brand positions the venue around community, with WhatsApp groups and Instagram updates alongside court hire at a mainstream leisure centre that also offers spa and gym facilities.
Facilities
Courts book through the Padelstars app with no membership required for pay-and-play. Off-peak weekday rates before 16:00 cost 7.50 pounds per person for non-members, 6 pounds for standard members and are free for premium members. Peak sessions after 16:00 weekdays and all weekend play cost 9.50 pounds non-member, 7.20 pounds for members. An early bird annual membership costs 125 pounds with 20 percent off bookings, ten-day advance booking, free 24-hour cancellation, coaching discounts and shop savings. Opening hours are Mon-Fri 07:00-21:30 and Sat-Sun 08:00-18:00.

Went to an "intro to padel" session which was very informative and great fun. Have been hooked ever since. Courts are very nice, and the app is easy to use to book coaching sessions or friendly matches. It's also a good way to meet new people. I highly recommend this place.
Played here on 11th April. Courts are lovely and booking is super easy. However, 5 days later after hiring rackets from the vending machine £450 was taken from my account with no explanation. Alex was super helpful in getting the money back, however given the vending machine is an external company, it did take a few working days to get the money back. Just a pre warning for those using the vending machines for hire!! Probably won't return without my own racket or a different hiring system.
Fantastic experience at Padel Stars! The outdoor venue is top-notch, set within the brilliant Blackbrook Leisure Centre and Spa, which really adds to the overall atmosphere. Kerry and Natalie are outstanding coaches – incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely supportive, making sessions enjoyable for all levels. The facility itself is excellent, with a super convenient vending machine that hires out rackets and balls, making it really accessible even if you don’t have your own gear. I can’t wait until it’s covered over this year – it’ll make it even more accessible all year round! Definitely well worth a go – highly recommend!
Had an amazing experience at PadelStars Taunton! The facilities are top quality clean courts, great atmosphere, and everything is really well organised. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the sport, which makes a huge difference whether you’re new to padel or already experienced. The sessions are fun, competitive, and well run, and it’s a great place to meet like-minded people and improve your game. Couldn’t recommend it enough easily one of the best places to play padel in the area. I’ll definitely be back! 🎾🔥
