Membership & Pricing
Ipswich Padel at Ipswich Sports Club is the first place to play padel in Ipswich, run in partnership with Game4Padel at the club’s Henley Road site in Suffolk. The club describes padel as a racket sport that mixes elements of tennis and squash, usually played in pairs, and says beginners can pick up the basics within about half an hour. On the padel page they currently list one court at Henley Road, with plans to grow to four courts and to become the largest padel offering in East Anglia. Construction of permanent padel facilities has begun following the popularity of the earlier temporary popup court. Alongside open play, Ipswich Sports Club promotes social padel, coaching drills, box leagues, and individual or group coaching, so players can improve or simply meet others for a hit.
Facilities
Padel at Ipswich Sports Club is pay-and-play for both members and non-members. To book a court or activity you create a MATCHi account, then reserve online; advance booking windows are 7 to 14 days depending on membership type. For an introductory padel session the club asks you to email padel@ipswichsports.co.uk. Full club membership is available through an enquiry form, with categories including Individual (25+), Young Adult (18–25), Senior (65+), Partners, Family, Students, Juniors, CASC rates for lower incomes, plus sports-specific hockey and table tennis options and a social membership. All-sports plans are priced from about £869 a year for adults (other rates apply by age and category), with annual or monthly payment and a joining fee. Padel is listed among activities you can select when enquiring about membership, and the club offers free taster sessions and club tours on request.

Expensive! Great fun though.
