Membership & Pricing
Ipswich Sports Club on Henley Road (IP1 4NJ) was the first padel venue in Ipswich — a members’ multi-sport club with tennis, squash, racketball, gym, studio classes, hockey and a sports bar alongside a single padel court. The club plans to grow to four courts; construction on permanent padel facilities began in mid-2026 after success with a temporary court (which was relocated during the build). Expect a proper club atmosphere rather than a pure padel box: social padel, coaching drills, box leagues and intro sessions. Open weekdays from 6:30am, weekends from 8am. Parking, bar and restaurant on site.
Facilities
Traditional members’ club — join via Perfect Gym / the club’s join forms (padel listed as an interest). Non-members can book padel courts and intro sessions. Booking window 7–14 days depending on membership type. For introductory padel sessions email padel@ipswichsports.co.uk. Summer short-term membership promotions appear periodically. Full racket, gym and studio access comes with club membership packages (confirm current prices with the club).

Good facilities friendly staff great Christmas function aand food
I was impressed with the facilities. There is a good amount of parking, a nice bar and restaurant area and the sports facilities look good too. I was there to play chess, so can't comment on much beyond this!
A fantastic club for sports, with great tennis and squash courts, and more padel courts coming soon hopefully. A members club at its core, with a fantastic history, and a legacy of hosting thousands of players over the years, from enthusiastic beginners to the world’s finest. I feel really lucky to be a part of the club and the community that it creates. This isn’t a soul less gym chain, it’s a bit rough round the edges in places, but look beyond that, it has everything you need. With a couple of games a week, and studio sessions with brilliant instructors, my family get great value from our membership and we would recommend it in a heartbeat.
Great to see ISC investing in new sports to compliment a great facility. Padel will be my new summer go-to sport!
