British Padel Academy lists at 30 White House Road, Ipswich (IP1 5LT) — the same site as The Warehouse @ Ipswich, BPA's Academy Club base where founder Dan Troy and coach Brett run regular sessions and coaching courses. The Warehouse is a purpose-built indoor padel and pickleball centre: four doubles padel courts, two singles padel courts, and indoor pickleball, with self-access booking via MATCHi (door code, auto lights, 24/7 CCTV). Free hire rackets and balls sit on court. BPA itself is a coaching network across Kent, Essex, London, Suffolk and beyond; this pin is where Ipswich players book courts and train with academy coaches. Facilities
Pay-and-play court hire typically around £32/hour for a doubles court via MATCHi (~£8pp). Optional MATCHi membership for a small monthly fee: discounts on bookings and earlier advance windows. BPA coaching: private sessions and group activities bookable on MATCHi or via Dan Troy (WhatsApp 07800 753628 / coachdantroy@gmail.com). Intro-to-coaching and higher BPA courses also run here — separate from casual court hire. No traditional country-club membership required to play.

I attended the Intro to Coaching course with Dan Troy at British Padel Academy and had a great, experience. Dan delivered the course professionally and engagingly, making it accessible to all experience levels. The course combined theory and practical learning effectively, with plenty of on-court time to apply concepts. Dan’s passion for padel and coaching created a positive, interactive environment that encouraged everyone’s participation. I left feeling more confident and motivated in the beginning of my coaching journey. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to get started in padel coaching, as I will also try and progress to join further BPA coaching courses.
Great course with Dan today. Really enjoyed it. A fun packed on-court day providing a comprehensive Introduction to Coaching. Loads of ideas for drills & exercises to improve technique across a wide range of shots and top tips from Dan's vast experience on how to engage with your players and build confidence. Highly recommended.
Dan is an incredible coach and teacher. He is passionate about the sport, patient with his class and genuinely wants everyone to have fun and learn. I haven’t been coached by them all; but I would be confident in saying he’s the best coach in the UK by far and it was a privilege to learn from him on his introduction to coaching course.

Boy oh boy what an awesome course. I absolutely loved loved it. I learnt so much and my confidence increased. Dan and his team were great. They made it fun as well as educational. If anyone lacks confidence or has anxiety when it comes to assessments this course is for YOU! As someone that has really bad anxiety when it comes to exams/assessments this course was perfect. Dan has the perfect coaching style and is able to meet individual needs within a group setting. I went into fight or flight mode as soon as Dan started to set up the assessment cones. I managed to ground myself to go onto court. Dan was already aware of my situation and without a fuss he was able to discreetly give me reassurance that everything was going to be Ok. His encouragement was amazing and his positive feedback and kind words have left me feeling on cloud 9 and I'm not sure when I'm going to come down from here. I'm looking forward to completing the rest of my Padel Coaching journey with BPA..
