Smash Padel Taunton is a forthcoming padel centre at Queen's College on Trull Road, announced as a partnership between Smash Padel and the independent school to bring six panoramic covered courts to Somerset. Expected to open in summer 2026, the site will be open to the public year-round as well as serving pupils, addressing strong local demand in an area that previously lacked padel. Smash Padel operates a growing UK network focused on inclusive coaching, junior pathways and community events, with an LTA Service Excellence Award for grassroots development.
Facilities
Membership and court pricing for Taunton are not yet published while the centre remains under construction. At existing Smash Padel clubs, players can book courts online, join free one-hour intro sessions and enrol in coaching pathways; Taunton-specific tariffs are expected closer to launch.
